We once heard a visitor to our beautiful shores describe the Australia as having ‘lots of sky’. It took us a few seconds to figure out exactly what they meant by this. We do have have lots of sky – thanks to a relatively young cityscape, our skyline is clearer than nearly all other international cities. Add to that we are also one of the highest UV rating countries in the world and there is no surprises that it also means that our obsession for sunglasses is surpassed by none.

Enter Onkler. A Sydney-based label, Onkler offer a ranges of vintage-inspired sunglasses that are like exclamation points for your face. Their range of unisexed frames look like they’ve come straight from a Fellini film, or maybe even a late Godard. Each are made from hand crafted acetate with UV400 grade lens. Clearly a handy thing to have when you live in a country that has so much sky and sun.
