SUMMER MOVIE SEASON

Clearly we have a theme going on this week in our summer suggestions – MOVIES.

What can we say? We just love to sit on our bum, drink beer and Singapore Slings by the jug and enjoy a decent flick on the big screen outdoors.

And we like it even more when the film is free. Yes, free we say! Which is just as well considering the amount of money we have spent on ourselves this Christmas buying presents. For ourselves. That wasn’t a typo.

Every Monday night at the Beresford Hotel in Surry Hills, the gang have rigged up a projection screen in the infamous beer garden where you and your mates can sit back, kick back, and knock back your poison of choice while you out-quote-along to your favourite film every other bitch in the vicinity. With a watch-list as camp as you’d expect, this is literally like looking at our own personal DVD collection at home: The Lion King, Alfie, Muriel’s Wedding, Romeo+Juliet, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show are what you can expect.
