In case you missed because you were in the middle of your very own conscious uncoupling, British power-pop ballad makers Coldplay have announced a one night only performance at the Enmore Theatre on Thursday, June 19.

The announcement of the band’s latest tour details has been a surprise to even the most steadfast of fans, especially the venue choice. Despite the fact that they could easily sell out venues thrice the size, their decision (dare we say conscious coupling?) to play at the Enmore is somewhat of a welcome change in tact – no over the top showmanship but instead a display of pure musical talent.

The tour accompanies the release of their latest album, Ghost Stories, which already has two hit singles on the charts – ‘Magic’ and the newly released second single ‘A Sky Full of Stars.

Tickets to see Coldplay live at the Enmore Theatre go on sale Tuesday, May 20 and are only available online. This is the sort of event people will be eating raw coffee and staying up the night before just to make sure they get their hands on their very own Golden Ticket.
