Alice in Chains? Tick. Placebo? Tick. Korn? Tick. No, we haven’t gone back in time to do a stocktake on the bedroom of our teenage selves. This is the awesomely awesome line up of this years’ Soundwave!

Hitting Sydney Olympic Park this coming Saturday, February 22, this year’s line-up is looking to be more banging than brazzers and with more grunt than a monster truck rally.

Since starting in the humble WA capital way back in 2004 before expanding in to a national event in 2007, Soundwave has prided itself on being a source of pure hardcore rock. Where most other major festivals attempt to provide a swinging pendulum of choice for attendees, Soundwave gives you nothing but a punch to the gut style of music… in other words, dress to get a bit sweaty and dirty.

As we so eloquently mentioned previously, this years’ line-up is looking decidedly retrospective with some of the greatest bands from recent rock and punk history set to share the stage. To add to that list, Green Day, The Living End, Megadeth, Living Colour and the ghoul of alternative grind, Rob Zombie, have also been locked in.
