Did you know that the bonobo of Africa is one of the most highly sexed creatures on the planet? They resolve conflict with sex; they use sex as a way of releasing tension; and they even celebrate the discovery of food by having a huge orgy. We think the Bonobo is definitely going to be our spirit animal for 2014.
We also think that Bonobo the musician is going to be something just as big and we cannot wait to see him at the Sydney Opera House this coming Monday night, January 6. Although we doubt the concert will end in an orgy in the same fashion his namesake might, we can still hope…
Mixing the danceable and the downbeat, pioneering UK producer/musician/DJ Bonobo‘s live-band electronica will transform into lushly orchestrated suites and larger-than-life, big band jams for his Opera House debut.
Despite having been on the electronic music scene since 2001, Bonobo has kept his album releases to a handful of carefully selected studio masterpieces that has managed to keep his fans equally satiated and starving for more.
Thanks to demand, there is also a confirmed second concert with tickets on sale to see Bonobo on Tuesday, January 7. To get your tickets, head here.
