Festival season has truly kicked off in Sydney and what better way to get into the spirit by heading to one of the best boutique events on offer, Return To Rio at Del Rio Riverside Resort at Wiseman’s Ferry from Friday, November 14 until Sunday November 16.

Once the site of Sydney’s best three-day festival Playground Weekender, Wiseman’s Ferry (a hop, skip and two hour drive north west of the city) has suffered a dry spell since its unfortunate demise. But this is about to change with the launch of Return to Rio.

Taking over the Del Rio Riverside Resort, Return To Rio is a three-day festival where you can immerse yourself in to some serious deep house, disco and funk. Headlining the event will be the Mad Racket team. Supporting them is an eclectic mix of live bands and DJs including renowned party people S.A.S.H., R Music, Love Bombs and Disktrict.

The overall feel of the event is a little different to Playground Weekender’s, there are some good traditions being upheld. Such as the always popular fancy dress night and pool parties, as well as early morning yoga. And, for those who reach the end of their party tether, there is always the mini golf.
