What better way to bring in the change of seasons than with a crisp cider in one of the best neighbourhoods Sydney has to offer? If you feel the same way as us (particularly the fondness for a damned good cider) then we expect to see you at the Newtown Hotel on Saturday, April 5.

Traditionally the best time of year for apples, the Cider Festival will celebrate all the deliciousness that cider brings to the table with over 20 stalls set up under the cider tree. You will be able to get a taste from some of the best flavours provided by Batlow, Kopparberg, Hills Cider and Dirty Granny.

And if the idea of spending an afternoon downing a cold one wasn’t enough to excite you, the guys at the Newtown Hotel have made sure that your ears will be as equally entertained as your taste buds. Musical treats will be provided by local folk darlings, Achoo Bless You and Betty & Oswald. Oh the blissful serenity – it’s already making us slide down our chairs in a puddle of happiness.
