If there is anything that makes us more excited than waking up on payday is waking up on payday and discovering that Melbourne-based streetwear superstore, Sneakerboy, is coming to Sydney! No more will we be needing to fly down every second weekend to good old Melbourne to feed our high-end footwear fetish because, hello, we now have our very own!

If you have missed the word, Sneakerboy is the awesome concept store that has been sending fashionistas broke for the past few years with their selection of designer footwear and t-shirts. Chris Kyveto of former Harrolds fame is the creative director and mastermind behind this nexus of cutting edge style and his taste is impeccable. Raf Simons, Adidas, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, Christopher Kane and Balmain are just a few of the goodies that you can get your hands (and feet) on.

Located at Temperance Lane just out of the way of the bustle and noise of George Street, the new store resembles a space age nuclear bunker. And we really do mean space age because you don’t actually buy anything from the store – you go there, try it on and then make the purchase over the phone. It’s like online shopping but better because you still get to touch everything! Bliss.
