Go west! Life is peaceful there. Go west, in the open air…Literally, though. Go west because the Pet Shop Boys are performing their latest show, Modulations, at the awesome start of the art performance venue Carriageworks this coming Friday June 6 until Sunday June 8 and tickets are selling fast!

Presented as part of the 19^th Biennale of Sydney, Modulations is a large-scale digital display combining sound and light in one mind-blowing experience. The Pet Shop Boys distinctive multidisciplinary approach to performance has led to renowned collaborations across theatre, film and visual arts. Pet Shop Boys current show, Electric, sees them join forces with acclaimed Creative Director Es Devlin, who has previously worked with internationally celebrated artists including Kanye West, Jay Z, Lady Gaga and Nitin Sawhney. Fresh from performing at Coachella, Roskilde, Sonar and Primavera, the Pet Shop Boys performance at Vivid will be a rare opportunity for Sydney audiences to experience a truly spectacular multi-media concert including film, lasers, breath-taking costumes, and choreography – along with a catalogue of hits, in an intimate and immersive environment. The only Australian performance of their 2013/14 Electric world tour.

Joining the Boys will be our very own electronic duo, The Presets, who will be in DJ mode as very special guests. Fresh from national performances of Timeline, a time-bending musical odyssey through 42,000 years, with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, The Presets’ Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes will be behind the decks at Carriageworks for these three intimate shows.

The Pet Shop Boys, joined by The Presets, will perform at Carriageworks this coming weekend, Friday June 6 until June 8.
