Hmph. Sunglasses. Love them. Love to have them. Love the wear them. Especially on a Sunday morning after a big night out on the peppermint tea and linseed biscuits. Not so fond of the often in excess of $400 price tag thanksverymuch.

So thank you NY based label, Illesteva. You have provided us with a range of classic-shaped frames with lenses that are reasonably tinted so we don’t end up walking into poles. You use cutting edge materials like acetate, titanium, bamboo, and even buffalo horn. And you have managed to keep the price at a reasonable average that won’t see us miss a month’s rent. You rock!

The Illesteva brand is only a very recent contender in the eyewear market, having kicked off in 2009. It has already gathered a cult following amongst those in the know, including fashion’s darling Alexa Chung and the suave-to-a-fault Daniel Craig. You would really only be doing yourself a favour by getting some.
