NYE Road Closures in Sydney CBD

Sydney is once again preparing for the New Year’s Eve celebrations. With Two spectacular fireworks displays, pre show entertainment, and the harbour of light parade on Sydney Harbour. More than 1.6 million spectators are expected to line the Sydney Harbour foreshore. To accommodate the safe movement of large crowds, extensive road closures and special event clearways will be in place in the Sydney City centre and harbour foreshore. There will be no vehicle access in these areas.

All major roads around the hotel will be closed from 7pm on the 31st until 4am on the 1st including Market, George, Pitt, Castlereagh, Bathurst, Elizabeth and King Streets.

Please note once the roads are closed at 7pm there is no access by vehicle to the hotel including taxi’s.

Vehicles to be parked overnight by the hotel will need to be dropped off before 7pm on the 31st as there will be no access to the vehicle again until after 4am on the 1st of January.

There will be no access to vehicles parked by the valet service between 7pm on the 31st and 4am on the 1st of January.
