There is something about a beard that just makes a man better – in looks, in thinks, in clothes…you know what, just in general it’s an overall improvement. Which is probably why Adelaide-based band, The Beards, not only all have one but also named themselves after such illustrious facial fur and why you will be going to see them at The Sound Lounge in Camperdown on Thursday, July 3.
After forming in 2005 with plans for simply being a one-off performance, The Beards soon realised the power of the beard and a cult following forced them to soldier forward and share their talent as an ongoing project. This saw them tour Australia extensively, sharing their love of beards to an ever broader audience in the hopes that they too would grow one.
This latest tour celebrates their most recent album, simply titled The Beard, and containing the already classic hits of That’s A Nice Beard, All The Bearded Ladies, and Touch Me In the Beard. Even if you’re not one for growing lustrous hair all over your chin, there is something for everyone at a Beards concert and most importantly, you’ll be able to appreciate their beards.
The Beards will be performing at Sound Lounge on Thursday, July 3.
