In case you missed it, Sydney has been taken over by the enormous light and music installation that is Vivid LIVE. Launched last week and running until Monday June 9, this is one of the biggest night festivals the country, let alone the city, has to offer.

Vivid LIVE is a new way of experiencing the city around you, bringing the landscape to life once the sun sets. Providing a series of trails that lead to the festival hub of Circular Quay, guests are invited to walk through the city and experience an interactive display of light installations, music and art spaces.

Occupying some of the cities key tourists spaces, including Darling Harbour and now high end shopping mecca, Martin Place, this year’s Vivid is looking to go down as one of the biggest yet. With more than fifteen speakers taking part talking on range of topics that touch on the future of technology, aesthetics and design and an incomparable music line-up, you’d be insane to miss it. Oh, did we mention that the bulk of the event is free? Yeah. It is.

Vivid LIVE is happening now across the City of Sydney and will be on display until Monday, June 9.
