We’ve all got a friend who invites you over for dinner or some wine and after cooking this amazing meal ruins the atmosphere with awful fluorescent lighting. For their next birthday, you should buy them one of these.
Designed in honour of the man behind the modern electric light, Thomas Edison, the luxlight globe oil lamp is a perfect way to keep lighting subtle and give a room plenty of atmosphere. The traditional light bulb has been turned on its head, making an oil lamp that glows for hours.
The light bulb is specially produced with frosted glass and a stainless steel socket. When the bulb is filled with oil, the frosted glass will turn clear giving the sensation of a floating flame. The result is a simple, beautiful lamp that is also fun.
Luxlight globes are available at Top 3 By design. There website is here.
