In case you hadn’t already, this is the last weekend to experience winter as it should be with all the ice and fake snow and falling down and bruising fun that our buddies in the Northern Hemisphere get to have.
The annual Sydney Winter Magic Festival is now on at down in Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour. Complete with ice rink and rentable skate, you can spend your afternoon drifting across the surface of some frozen water, pretending your Queen Elsa or Bobbie Drake from the X-Men (sorry, total nerd out but you know you loved it). You can even rent out your own private igloo for some hot and steamy winter romance action!
Previously held in the courtyard of St Mary’s Cathedral, The Sydney Winter Magic Festival is now in its fifth year and seems to be getting bigger and better each time. As huge fans of the colder months ourselves, we’re nominating whoever the genius was behind the creation of the festival the OAM. Job well done.
The Sydney Winter Festival is now on at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour. Last day is Sunday, July 13.
