The Griswolds Are Coming to the Metro Theatre

Coming to our favourite venue, The Metro Theatre, on Saturday October 11, awesome indie folk lads The Griswolds will be providing you with some awesome backing tunes as you enjoy the sweet nectar ahead of what we can only imagine will be a rather rough Sunday morning.

After spending most of this year nailing it throughout the US, The Griswolds have returned to the motherland and simultaneously announced a national tour in celebration of the release of their debut album, Be Impressive. The response to the album has been nothing short of awesome, with reviewers already hailing it as the album of summer.

Their “Beware the Dog” video has set blogs alight and hit around 100,000 people in just a couple of weeks. It has been a triple j staple throughout this year, hitting the top five in the Hype Machine global blog charts and the band will be taking it round Australia with ten shows hitting six states and territories celebrating the album release.

With a tonne of festival performances under their belts already, the boys are more than prepared for the intimate settings of a concert dedicated to their own antics. And about time too. Well done, lads.
