ENDLESS SUMMER IN CRONULLA

Despite what a very, very appalling television show that attempted to convince the world that the beaches south of Sydney were populated by the detritus of society, The Shire is in fact a rather beautiful place. It’s famous Cronulla Beach is enormous, never as cramped as Bondi and the local food and drink situation is just as good. So if you find yourself at wits end trying to figure out what to do post Christmas Day, maybe you could get yourself a wee ticket and head on down to celebrate an Endless Summer at one of our most infamous beaches.

The Endless Summer Music Festival is a brand new event that will take place down in Gunnamatta Park in Cronulla and will run for three days from the 27^th to the 29^th December. The festival itself is part live music, part food and wine, and part celebration of the regions rather rich historical diversity.

A culture alley will show off the local art and creative types and there is also a tonne of good stuff to keep the kids happy too including face-painting, pony-rides, a moon-castle and maybe even a tattooist. Spray-on, of course. Beer gardens will be located throughout the event because what kind of festival wouldn’t have one of these!

The Endless Summer Music Festival is on from December 27 to December 29 at the Gunnamatta Park in Cronulla. Some parts are ticketed.
