EAST IS EAST MARKETS ARE HERE

Avid consumers and collectors of things that we are, needless to say we are very excited about the launch of the East Is East Markets in Darlinghurst.

Held every Thursday night at the Tap Gallery on Palmer Street, the East Is East Markets are one of the few places that fashionistas and design hounds can get their hands on both vintage and hand-made goods under $100 a pop.

Just like their daytime version held in Kensington, the East Is East Markets are focused on delivering locally made and locally sourced creations to the public. Unlike their daytime version, however, shoppers are able to indulge in a decent tipple whilst browsing the stalls. YES THAT’S RIGHT! Booze AND retail therapy. Winning.

Doors to the markets will open at 6.30pm, but get down earlier because the first 30 bodies through the door will receive a Market Goodie bag, featuring awesome free stuff from the likes of Etsy goddess Seventh Tree Soaps, graphic-tee king Uncle Fritz, bespoke Bondi eco-jeweller Holly Lolly Legs and vintage-clothiers Annie Lou’s Closet.
