For example, where else do you think you will find an original Sydney train station board; or a vintage hot dog stand. How about a horse from a carousel? The team sources their entire collection from around Australia, and consequentially has one the best collections of vintage Australiana you can find, including old-school sporting posters and beer ads.

In addition to those must-haves (for us, anyway), Doug Up on Bourke also specializes in vintage furniture – huge, wooden desks and workbenches are brought back to life. The collection of chairs is just amazing, ranging from the traditional metal school ones to repainted wooden dining chairs and leather ones straight from Granddad’s study. However, our personal favourites are the collections of world-globes and glass bell jars. Lovely.
