We like collaborations. It’s like the best of two worlds, sometimes more, come together in harmony and creativity to make something even better. Politicians and world leaders take note!

Sydney label, Das Monk, is a shining example of the good that can come from great minds and talents working in tandem. Siblings, Marc and Brooke Hendrick, created the label back in 2007 as an extension of their own passion for good design and good fashion. Since then they have worked with over 50 local and international artists to create clothing that is as fun to wear as it is to look at. Inspiration for their designs come from all corners of the creative realm, such as vintage cassettes and album covers, cubicle wall doodles and collages. Basically, Das Monk is art that you can wear.

What we also love is their constant hunting down for, and shout outs of, new and emerging artists. Holding regular design competitions, Das Monk has been the starting platform for some of Sydney and Australia’s best new talents. It’s this dedication to the helping and developing other artists and their work that makes us love them even more. If that’s at all possible.
