[Ctrl][P]

Nov 11, 2013  ·  1 min read

Object: Australian Design Centre and Courtesy of the Artist (COTA) have collaborated to present [Ctrl][P] Objects on Demand a 3D printing lab, an exhibition, and a pop-up shop that explores the What, Why and How of 3D printing.

(CTRL)(P) OBJECTS ON DEMAND is an intensive case-study demystifying the 3D printing process currently being touted as the catalyst for the next industrial revolution. The future of manufacturing is here… now!

Courtesy of the Artist (COTA) and Object: Australian Design Centre are giving consideration to how 3D printing can transform the way we design, make, use and consume the objects around us. Designers, makers, manufacturers and retailers can now begin to consider the possibility of manufacturing at a scale, cost and flexibility not possible with traditional manufacturing processes.

(CTRL)(P) OBJECTS ON DEMAND will be held at Object Gallery in Sydney from 29 October 2013 – 25 January 2014.

(CTRL)(P) OBJECTS ON DEMAND will consist of an exhibition, pop-up shop, a range of public programs and a 3D printing photo booth where you can scan and print a miniature version of yourself!
