Christopher Esber Debut’s Menswear

Sydney-based designer, Christopher Esber, had already built up a name for himself in perfectly cut and crafted womenswear before this year’s debut of his men’s range. Showing at Australian Fashion week, Esber released a collection of razor sharp pants, crisp shirts and signature jackets. The fine, contrasting details of fabrics and cut have given his modern menswear an edge that has been missing in other brands.

Suffice to say, it the show was a complete success.

Only 25 himself, Esber’s men’s collection showed the maturity of an older designer…or maybe it would be better said that Esber’s designs are made for more refined tastes. No neon pinks or overly designed t-shirts here! Think cotton, leather, linen in black, grey, white and utilitarian and you’d be hitting the mark.

After such a strong first foray into the growing menswear industry in Australia, it will be exciting to see what Esber’s next collection will bring!
