Christmas lunch with the family is always a bit of a mixed blessing. Yes, it’s an opportunity to eat our body weight in all the foods that we now know are the reasons that Australia has such a high obesity rate (THANKS MUM). But it’s also an opportunity to bust out some truly amazing clothing to remind the questionable cousins just how much better than them you are. Petty, but it’s true.
As such, we would recommend heading over to Obus for the latest collaboration between Obus founder, Kylie Zerbst and artist Kirra Jamison. Based in Melbourne, Obus is designed for the travelling woman putting emphasis on comfort as much as style. And style is definitely what you will get here in the limited edition summer range.
Obus’s collection of floaty geometric-print dresses are a perfect way to keep comfortable in the stifling heat that is considered an Australian while at the same time providing the same kind of comfort you’d expect from your favourite pair of tracksuits. Only a bazillion times more stylish.
All of these one-off pieces (yes, one-off so you should get in super-quicksies) are made here in Australia so you will be supporting local industries in the same breath as you will be supporting your wardrobe standards.
