We wrote about the amazing lights designed by David Trubridge a little while ago. But just in case you have forgotten, David creates some of the most incredible lighting designs using plywood he carves into organic, fluid-like shapes. This time, David has turned his talents and signature shapes into a range of treats for you to hang from your earlobes! Wearable lights!

“From a distance at night,” David says, “our lights can appear like sparkling jewels. So here they are in miniature.” The Koura Collection was designed by David for Adorn jewellery and is based upon his Koura Pendant Lamp.

The range includes three different variations of the design each coming in a set of earrings, pendant and brooch. Made in silver, the range is all hand finished by David in his native New Zealand. They also come in their own sweet little plywood box, reminiscent of the material used in his amazing lights.

Christmas is on its way so keep these puppies in mind for when you’re trying to come up with that awesome gift list. You can thank us later. The Koura Collection comes out November 9, and will be available from David’s website here and some selected retailers.
