If a bear performs on the harbour does that make them a har-bear? Sorry, that was lame. But our favourite musical troupe of gents, Boy and Bear, are performing at the Sydney Opera House 21-22 September and we’d hate for you to miss out.
Since their forming back in 2009, Boy and Bear have established themselves as one of the leading folk bands of Australia today. Known not only for their original work but for their haunting covers of Aussie classics (seriously, their version of Crowded House’s Fall At Your Feet will never get tired).
Boy & Bear’s world-wondering reach has resulted in a band at the height of their craft whilst venturing deeper within the heart of classic rock ‘n’ roll folklore. Guiding the gilded harmonies of breakthrough hits ‘Mexican Mavis’ and ‘Rabbit Song’ into the timeless tradition of American greats such as Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and The Eagles on their sophomore follow up, the Sydney quintet have embraced the nation’s spirit in a rare series of shows that have reached their most regional and earliest followers.
This will be the lad’s debut performance at the Sydney Opera House and will be one of the last on Australian soil before they jet off overseas for an enormous 32-date tour of Europe and America, their biggest yet.
Don’t miss your chance to see one of Australia’s most talented bands in the charts today at one of the nation’s most iconic venues.
Boy and Bear will perform at the Sydney Opera House for two nights, 21-22 September.
