We like the French. We think it is fair to say that they are probably the most stylish people who live in one of the most stylish cities in the world. So it comes to no surprise to us that we would fall in love with something only to find out that it’s French.

Designer, Océane Buret, is the driving force behind Océé – a Paris-based label that produces eco-friendly clothing in conjunction with Surfrider Foundation Europe. Océane connected aquatic life from an early age and much of her own graphic designs and photography work is influenced by the shapes and colours the ocean takes. (If you haven’t guessed, her name is also ocean influenced. Funny side note, her sister is called Marine. True story.)

Océé‘s first collection, also inspired by the ocean and marine life, is a series of beautifully tie-dyed shirts and tank tops. The colour palette for this season ranges from the obvious water-y blues and greens to a more earthier selection of browns and tans.

These are going to be perfect for summer as what country is more connected to the ocean and surf than Australia? And Sydney in particular!
