Binny’s Bright Ideas

Binny Talib has held on to that wonderful sense of imagination that made childhood magical and it shows in her work. Having put her talents to good use with children’s clothing, books and even toys, Binny has also turned her hand to wallpaper for the home.

And personally, we think that wallpaper is making a bit of a comeback and Binny is helping that happen!

The Sydney-based textile and surface patter designer has drawn on the books of her youth and an irrepressible creativity to produce wallpaper designs that are a mixture of the surreal and the fantastic.

Each of her designs adds a little whimsy and fun to a space and is a great idea to use even on a single wall to add some colour and depth. And don’t think this is just for kids or even the young at heart – Binny’s designs are bold enough to look great in almost any room.

Just recently, she has also won a slew of awards in both Australia and the U.S, including the Illustrator Australia Awards. So congrats Binny!
