BIKE SHORTS AT THE ROCKS BIZARRE

So we recently wrote about the amazingness that is the Rocks Bizarre and the awesome fun time events that happen there and one of those awesome things is the inaugural Bike Shorts Film Festival.

Hosted by The Magnificent Revolution, the Bike Shorts Film Festival will launch on Friday, December 6. Anyone can enter and there are two categories: Standard Shorts that can be up to five minutes long and Micro Shorts, where Instagrammers can submit 15-second cycle-themed clips.

This is a fantastic opportunity to not only experience a collection of roots level artists and creators but also a sneaky way of getting your butt moving a little. You see, the projector that the films will be shown are going to be powered by your hairy little legs pumping away on a bicycle. Fun, eco friendly AND healthy.

You can find Bike Shorts on ‘Revolutionary Road’ at the intersection of George and Playfair Streets. Why not cycle down there and make it a whole evening of two-wheel power. Lycra bike shorts are in no way required but feel free to wear some to give the crowd something extra to enjoy.
