It’s that time of the year again when young men wear flags as capes, girls strip down to barely there bikini tops and micro denim shorts to gather under the Australian sun for two days to experience a rare collection of live music from the best around the world.
Yes, the Big Day Out is once again going to drown the ears of the willing with a cacophony of out of this world noise as part of the annual Australia Day long weekend.
This year’s lineup includes the likes of Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Snoop Lion (we know, right!), Major Lazer, Flume, Rüfüs and Portugal.
This year, ticketing is split in to two categories – standard and Like A Boss. The Like A Boss ticketing system is basically your VIP ticket that guarantees your access to exclusive viewing areas, bars, presents and best of all you get your own dunnies. ‘STRAYA C%$#S!
The Big Day Out has become an institution amongst Australia’s events scene, bringing out some of the biggest and newest names in music and piling them together in the one venue. No other event beats them in size, diversity and the capacity to give you an insight in to the depths of the Australian psyche…tinnies, Bundy Rum, Southern Cross tattoos and some of the thickest, most conditioned mullets you will ever have the pleasure to brush up against. Totes classy.
The Big Day Out is on Sunday, January 26 at the Sydney Showgrounds.
