APRA Screen Music Awards 2013

Being held in the State Theatre, part of the QT Sydney entertainment precinct, the 2013 APRA Screen Music Awards are the night of nights for those who bring music to our screens. Your fave ad jingles, soundtracks, and TV theme will be praised.

The annual Screen Music Awards are presented by APRA in conjunction with the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC). The ceremony acknowledges excellence and innovation in the field of screen composition.

The Screen Awards honour music composers across twelve categories. APRA uses statistical analysis to define nominations based on performance activity, as reflected by earnings, for two categories: Most Performed Screen Composer – Australia, and Most Performed Screen Composer – Overseas. Panels of highly respected Australian film and television composers determine four nominees across each of the remaining ten categories.

The 2013 Screen Music Awards will be held in Sydney on Monday 9th December.
