Fads are a funny thing. Sometimes, an item or object gets instant cult status because it’s simply so bizarre that you have to have it or experience it in order to just understand the thing (think the Rebecca Black ‘Friday’ phenomo-disaster). And sometimes they’re just plain fantastic. Like the Moshi Moshi handset!
This cell-phone attachment – any cellphone too, not just the ubiquitous smart phone – is like a technological step back in time, back to the original early 90’s brick-phone. Or the must-have 1980’s car phone! But funner.
Designed by David Turpin for Native Union, the Moshi Moshi provides has state of the art mic and speakers, making sure that your conversations are crystal clear and the handset itself is made from shatter-proof ABS plastics, so you don’t have to worry that one drop will smash everything.
The key feature we love is the fact that the handset keeps the cellphone or iPad, whichever one we happen to be using, away from our face. This means us keeping us at a safe distance from all those radiowaves that mobiles are meant to be channelling. Health and safety at its stylish!
