ALL IN A LEATHER

Politics aside, we’re fond of leather. It gets better with age, is great in winter and, to put it bluntly, is sexy. Sexy in a primal, animalistic manner. But also sexy in a completely sophisticated way too.

And so we come to our new favourite designer, the Sydney-based Micha Dyball, and her label Eska Alikai. (Dyball, and her label Eska Alikai, are also currently one of the darlings of Instagram. So if you’re not following her, do so now.)

A native of the Northern Beaches, Micha turned to design with the desire to create clothing that was versatile enough to go from day to night and retain a sense of intrigue. It also came from years of searching for the perfect leather skirt. To answer this dilemma, Micha has created an effortless capsule collection of apparel, sandals and accessories crafted from the finest leather.

The creations of Eska Alikai are made with a focus on clean lines and structure, using a mix of quality lamb, pebble leather, suede and pony hair throughout the collection.
