A Vanishing Pink

Sometimes when world’s collide wonderful things can happen. So when we were given a heads up about the latest collaboration between two of our favourite brands to create a jewellery line for summer we darn well near wet our pants. Not really, but we did do a fist pump for joy.

The boys behind suave street label, Vanishing Elephant and Skye Campbell from Pink Lou Lou have collaborated to create a range of jewellery and accessories for the modern dandy.

At this stage involving a selection of signet rings in 18ct gold and sterling silver embossed with a cockatoo (yeah, we’re loving this personally) and two necklaces with either a shark tooth or boomerang pendant, we are hoping this collaboration is sweet promise of more to come.

The pieces are subtle without being boring, combining the best of Vanishing Elephant’s subtlety and Pink Lou Lou’s frivolity. And their nod to traditional Australiana iconography is a perfect touch to make an ideal Christmas gift. For someone else, we guess, but as if we’re not totally talking about buying it for yourself? Treat yo’ self!
