The weekend is so close I can taste it, and with plenty of activity happening around Canberra, there is exactly zero reasons to stay holed up at home. Love yourself some fashion, food, film or adventure? We got you covered. Here’s what’s good:

Fash n Treasure

Fashionistas rejoice – our monthly fashion market is here. Whether you like your fashion a little pre-loved or brand spankin’ new, Fash N Treasure delivers the goods. There’ll be stall holders selling their clothes, shoes and accessories (got to make room for the new!) and designers with their latest wares.

Ab Fab High Tea

It’s an Absolutely Fabulous High Tea at Dendy, darling! Feel those VIP vibes in the comfort of a reclining leather seat in the Premium Lounge as you get waited on hand and foot, with a glass of sparkling, some fancy sandwiches, quiche, scones and more – and a viewing of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, of course.

Old Bus Depot Markets

Canberra’s classic markets. Get yourself down to the Old Bus Depot Markets to pick up local wares. There’s jewellery, fashion, accessories, art, collectibles and more. I know what you’re thinking… where’s the food at? There’s plenty: Mr Cheese, Taco Way Food, Dom’s Woodfired Gourmet Bread, The Fudge People, Bread Nerds and more. Did I mention there’s bread? #ilovecarbs

Canberra Scavenger Hunt

It’s baaaack! The Canberra Scavenger Hunt will have you racing around town, searching for clues, talking to local peeps, performing challenges and having a bloody great weekend. You can enter as a team (3-5 people) or show up solo or as a couple and the organising crew will join you up with others.

Winter Festival

Get yourself to the National Portrait Gallery for a family-friendly day packed with ice sculptures, magic, comedy, knitting, music, crafts, film and a smoke ceremony – gosh that’s a lot of action! Bonus – you can celebrate winter while staying cosy indoors.
