Weight Of Silence Coming to The Basement

Back in the day, we were known to thrash heads with the best of them. And while we have mellowed out a little in our old age (mostly thanks to nasty case of whiplash and a deafness in one ear) we are still fond of the occasional night of metal. And the band formerly known as Nailed, Weight of Silence, are going to be scratching that itch for us at the Basement on Friday, April 18.

Weight of Silence are in their own words are a brutally guttural and highly technical band from Phillip Island. The boys describe their music as a unique mix of deathcore, hardcore and metal…so basically something that will make you simultaneously vomit and poo your pants in the most awesome possible way you can think of.

Tickets for the event are a bare ten dollars on the door so you won’t be breaking open the piggy bank for this one. Just expect to get a little sweaty, a little bruised and battered and have some damned fun while you’re at it.
