Long held to be one of the most influential female rock and roll musicians of all time, the unstoppable Suzi Quotro is returning to Canberra to play at the Canberra Theatre Centre for her last Australian tour on February 12, 2015.

The first female bass player to break down the glass ceiling (smash, to use more appropriate terms) for women in the music industry, Suzi Quatro has had a career that over four decades. She has had chart topping singles in each decade, fifteen studio albums and numerous television appearances. To say that she is the epitome of a star would be an understatement.

For her final tour of Australia, Quatro has released the following statement:

“I have been touring Australia regularly since 1974, and have lost count of how many times I have been here, but I think this tour will be number 29! It’s my second home and I love it dearly. This year I celebrated my 50th year in the business and it just felt like the right time to take my final bow. It’s a daunting prospect and one I am preparing seriously for. I want this to be a night to remember in every way….tears, laughter and lots of rock and roll. This has been my life. Nobody in the world rocks as hard as the Aussies….and from me that’s what they’re gonna get….foot on the gas and go. So looking forward to this tour”
