Outdoor cinemas are great, especially in summer (well they suck in winter, let’s be honest). They combine a few of our favourite things; movies, warm weather, tasty snacks and arguably our favourite thing – beverages. Whether your preferred poison is a crisp Sauv Blanc, frosty pale ale, fruity cider, vegan-approved Adam’s ale or some sophisticated bubbles, sipping it in the sweet summer air is hard to beat.
The IMB Bank Sunset Cinema at the Australian National Botanic Gardens is back for its fourth season, providing Canberra locals and visiting film buffs with the chance to experience four movie nights a week, with a broad range of films to suit everyone’s taste (there’s even something on offer for the little ones).
To enjoy latest release feature films in the beautiful gardens amongst the natural wildlife is something we’ve been longing for in Canberra for some time. With eight films available between December 9-19, you’re be spoilt for choice and may end up camping out at the gardens in order to catch each film!
