“I see pride, I see power!” – Never has a quote from Cool Runnings been so relevant.

Deck yourself out in the all the colours of the rainbow and show that you’re proud when Canberra’s official LGBTIQ fiesta, SpringOUT Pride Festival, kicks off in late October.

The Canberra Pride Committee is proud to present the 16^th annual SpringOUT Festival, which includes a massive Fair Day Rooftop After-Party, a Big Gay Sing-Along, trivia night, board games evening, OUTbiz social networking, a drag and dress-up karaoke night, a Roller Disco and the all-important annual Bushdance – could it honestly get any better than that? No, it honestly couldn’t.

The annual Fair Day is a large highlight of the Festival, which will unite the entire Pride community and showcase Canberra’s Pride community scene with social activities, markets, music and performances.

LGBTIQ festivals and events provide the community with a way to celebrate and reflect on gay and lesbian life. The events being held across the ACT during Canberra SpringOUT Pride Festival are organised, funded and promoted by the individuals, groups and businesses that wish to participate, with a strong focus being placed on uniting as a community.
