In case you missed it, one of Canberra’s biggest music festivals is about to hit us. This coming Sunday, April 27, Groovin’ The Moo will be ripping The Meadows at Canberra University a new one as it plays host to a slew of awesome international and local talent.
The eclectic line up for 2014 is sure to provide another year of gold standard entertainment for the GTM community. Sydney-boy Andy Bull, Arhitecture in Helsinki, Triple J Top 100 winner for 2013 Vance Joy and the Jezabels. But that’s not all folks. The guys at GTM have also confirmed one of the biggest names in hip hop, DIZZEE RASCAL, to headline the event. Joining him will be fellow Brits Disclosure and from the US Robert Delong and Cult. Are you sweating yet? Because you should be.
For GTM, 2014 symbolises ten years of making the annual overland journey into its much-loved communities that are now considered home. The simple set up and the honest country hospitality of those original GTM’s is still the life-blood that flows through the festival today – the double outdoor stages, the glow of the Moolin Rouge Big Top Tent and the variety of the flavoursome, fresh and local produce on offer.
Groovin’ The Moo will be held at The Meadows, Canberra University on Sunday, April 27. Event is all ages.
