As much as it may seem that all Dad wants this Father’s Day is some breaky in bed and afternoon in front of the footy with his favourite brew- you know he’s been there, done that.
Sunday 3rd September is creeping up so don’t be caught out with the same ol’ jocks and socks routine- give Dad an experience to remember.
But what, you ask?
Like man-bags, man-scaping and man…flu, there is another new phenomenon that will reshape the world as we know it: Man Tea.
It has nothing to do with drinking Tea but it’s all Man- a high tea for the gents, if you will.
There are no cucumber sandwiches and frilly cakes in this feast though; picture delights such as Pork and Black Truffle Scotch Eggs, Dry Aged Beef and Barolo Wine Mini Pie with a Pea Mash Floater and for the sweet-tooths, Chocolate Cigars with a Scotch Ganache and Candied Orange.
Available at Lucky’s Speakeasy on Friday and Saturday evenings, Man Tea is the perfect excuse to round up the fellas, tuck into some delicious eats and some beverages of your choosing. It’s the ultimate Father’s Day treat, Buck’s idea or boy’s night out.
For those looking to win the Ultimate Father’s Day, QT Canberra also has the goods:
Give dad the gift of style with a whopping $500 gift voucher from our good friends at MJ Bale.
Once he’s kitted out in some new threads, take Dad on a whisky journey with Lucky’s Venue Manager Noriel Calub on Friday 1 September. Get the know on distillation, maturation, styles and flavours, how to mix and how to enjoy! Includes a 1 hour session for Dad and four guests, with tastings and a QT Signature Old Fashioned to enjoy to finish.
Head over here to enter…and watch your favourite child status escalate.
