Faraday’s Candle

19 December 2014
Village Centre, National Arboretum Canberra, Forest Drive, Canberra 2601

Visit the stunning National Arboretum Canberra for a truly illuminating theatre evening performance of Faraday’s Candle. More than 150 years ago, English scientist Michael Faraday saw beauty and wonder in the chemistry of a candle. His observations remain true today.

The lessons are both simple and profound. Society has changed, technology has advanced, language has evolved, but the phenomena underpinning a candle remain constant.

Doors open from 7pm for you to enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Burley Griffin and Canberra from inside the Village Centre. Cocktails and canapés will be served until the show begins at 8pm.
