Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival 2016

For the love of beer, how does spending an entire Saturday in March surrounded by over 80 craft beers and ciders sound? Pretty good eh!

The Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival returns once again this year. Beer enthusiasts and cider lovers alike are frothing and rightfully so. Get submerged in the local and regional beers that will be available to taste test. Spend the day sampling local gourmet food, matching said flavours with suds and meeting local and regional brewers. I suggest you arrive on an empty stomach.

The Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival is committed to heritage whilst paving the way for innovation in the brewing industry. They invite the best of the best breweries to exhibit their amber wares, from the more well known craft brewers (James Squire and Little Creatures) to the cult favourites (Kosciuszko and The Lord Nelson Brewery) and intriguing (the organic ciders of Willie Smiths and the gluten free Koala Beer). With the ever growing interest in participation each year, this is set to be the biggest year yet.

Whether you’re a hardcore beer enthusiast, or just starting to discover the golden drop, the 9^th annual festival is expected to be a BIG day out for all. And with over 80+ craft beers and ciders being poured, you’ll be sure to find your drop of choice!

Expect to see live bands, expressions sessions, meet-the-brewer sessions, beer and food matching classes, charity raffles, as well as guest speakers who will be encouraging one and all to start your own backyard brewery. There are also events for the little ones to keep them entertained, while you paint the town red…

All entrants receive five tasting tickets (use these wisely) for the $15 entry price. EXTRA tasting tickets are available for $1.
