Great news for fans of Triple J Hottest 100 winner Chet Faker! After a lightning sell out of tickets for his performance at ANU, organisers have thrown us a bone by relocating to a bigger, better and louder venue. Chet will now be performing his awesome tunes at the National Convention Centre’s Royal Theatre.
Tickets already purchased for the original venue will be valid for the rescheduled show at the Royal Theatre in the GA floor section and no further action is required. Formerly a big boys and girls only event, the show is now all ages. So feel free to bring your little brother or sister. No one should miss out on the Chet.
Having “Talk Is Cheap” named Triple J Hot 100’s number was the cherry on top of what was a stellar year for Faker, who single-handedly wrote, performed and produced Built On Glass in a hand-built studio at the disused Melbourne Meat Market and released it in April to endless critical acclaim.
Chet Faker’s chart-topping album has already picked up three ARIA Awards and leads the field with a total of nine nominations. The album has also been nominated for the 2014 J Award for Australian Album of the Year.
Chet Faker will be performing at the National Convention Centre’s Royal Theatre on February 11.
