Lord of the Triple J airwaves and one of the best talents on the Australian electronic music scene, Chet Faker, has announced his national 2015 tour which will include performing at ANU Bar on Wednesday, February 11 2015.
Since breaking into the music scene back in 2012, Faker (born Nicholas James Murphy) has catapulted onto the international music scene, winning numerous awards along the way including Best Independent for both the Australian Independent Records Awards and Australian Rolling Stone. His cover for Blackstreet’s No Diggity was even featured in the much coveted advertising slots during the American Super Bowl.
Chet Faker also recently recorded his first iTunes Session. This exclusive six-track set is only available on iTunes and features highlights from Built On Glass and ‘I’m Into You’ from the Thinking In Textures EP. Released globally on Friday 28 November, it is available now on iTunes here.
Chet’s return to Australia will be the final tour of his award-winning breakthrough debut LP Built On Glass (out now via Future Classic) and will be his biggest tour to date. Chet will be ably supported by Melbourne wonder-producer Roland Tings and rising cosmic-funk revivalists GL.
