Canberra Scavenger Hunt 2016

Long gone are the days where you would spend your weekends catching up with friends over coffee. Now, the new way of hanging out is through scavenger hunting.

Think The Amazing Race meets treasure hunt meets walking tour of Canberra, and you get the Canberra Scavenger Hunt. A fantastic way to explore the city, this Scavenger Hunt will have you finding tricky clues and performing challenges, whilst searching for hidden gems that even the locals don’t know about.

The Hunt will take place May 21, out the front of the Canberra Centre. Finding clues, talking to strangers, making human pyramids, getting to really know your friends and making new pals, is all part of this hunt, as well as determining who has a competitive streak.

So how does it all work?

• Grab a team of 3-5 friends. If you’ve got less than 3 or are a solo flyer, you’ll be paired up with an awesome group of new found friends
• Arrive at 1pm to register yourself or your team and collect your team instructions
• The hunt begins at 1.30pm, where you will spend two hours completing and finding as many items on the instruction sheet as possible
• Return to the finishing point by 3.30pm with your answers, and enjoy a well earned drink whilst you wait to find out who the winners are at 4pm

$30 gets you entry to the scavenger hunt, with discounts available for teams of 5.

Head into work on Monday raving about what an incredible time you had exploring Canberra. you’ll actually have something to tell your colleagues about as you grab your morning coffee!
