Battle It Out with Battle of the Bands

So what could be better than seeing some good honest home-grown talent performing live at one of our favourite venues? Seeing said home-grown talent performing live as they battle it out for music supremacy that’s what. That’s right folks, Battle of the Bands is hitting Transit Bar on Friday, May 2.

Four heats are being held to find the best of the best. One winner from each heat will get to head to the Grand Final where they will compete for an fistful of cold hard cash.

All styles of music will be given the chance to compete so no matter what your flavour – grindcore, rock, hip hop, twee pop, folk, nu rave, ambient drillcore, whatever you want to call yourself – there will be something to satisfy everybody.

This is going to be an awesome experience of some of the best music that Canberra (and surrounding regions) has to offer, and really, the way that music was meant to be heard.

Battle of the Bands will be held at Transit Bar, starting May 2.
