Start those engines ladies and gentlemen, because Auto Italia Canberra is back for another year of Italian cars, motorbikes and scooters. This is the ideal automotive exhibition for those Ferrari frothers and Lamborghini lovers and will showcase the most beautiful cars you have ever.

Auto Italia first started in 1984 as a simple BBQ for the local Alfa Romeo and FIAT clubs, and has since grown into a spectacular showcase of artistic Italian machinery.

Presented by the obsessively passionate team from the Italian Cars Association ACT, this is Canberra’s one and only premier display of Italian automotives. Bring your beloved FIAT, Vespa, Ducati, Lancia, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo or De Tomaso and be part of the display, or just head along and enjoy an espresso, biscoti, gelato and revel in the downright sexiness of Italian automotives.

If you are indeed a proud owner of Italian motor art, you can be register to be an exhibitor where you can show off your beast and be in the running to win one of the many awards on offer. Even the most retro of FIATs have a chance to be crowned the best on show.

So grab your Nonna, Nonno, cousins and the whole famiglia, and make a day of it.

Auto Italia is on April 3, 2016. It takes place on the lawns of Old Parliament House from 8.30am – 3pm. Entry is free to the public.
