Australian National Botanical Gardens

We don’t know about you, but we’ve always been a little bit in awe of the patience and detail it takes to pull off still life and scientific drawings – as you can probably imagine, QT is more inclined towards the surrealist, abstract and post-modern movements! As such, we’re keen to get along to the Australian National Botanical gardens to check out the botanical illustrations on display at the Art In The Garden exhibition, a collection of botanic art that features Australian native flora. Majority of the paintings on display will be for sale, with a portion of all process going towards the ‘Friends’ collective, a non-profit community organisation that supports the Gardens through an extensive program of events, talks and social events, plus hands-on support of research programs.
