As you’d know by now, Wellington On A Plate (or the very fun to say acronym WOAP) isn’t just another festival of overcrowded events with silly price points. It’s more a celebration through all means, using produce from all over to create something that is truly delicious.
If you’re new to Wellington, then you’ll want to scoop up some tickets to some hot event of the next two weeks. Wellington On A Plate is only just getting started and will continue to take over car parks, lane ways and kitchens all over town to create a foodie journey like no other.
We here at QT Museum Wellington are stoked to be hosting a number of events during the festival and one that we can’t wait for is The Winemaker Dinner: The Elder. It’s exactly what it says on the bottle. We’ve been lucky enough to pair up with Nigel Elder from The Elder wine label based in Martinborough and produce a dinner to match. As this will be a lavish affair, we’ll be serving from The Elder magnums.
The hatted culinary lords at Hippopotamus have created a five-course menu that will not only delight you, it’ll force your taste buds to change the meaning flavour.
You’re going to want to snap up these tickets ASAP before all the seats at the table are gone.
Snap those ticket HERE.
Then if you want to get deeper into the Wellington On A Plate menu, Ben Shewry will be in town for a sold out dinner at Ortega Fish Shack & Bar, so keep your ear to the ground for tickets on that one. There are a number of tickets for Capital Culprit, where Kyle Street and Jordan Macdonald will pair up to create… well, magic.
We still have so much to bite off WOAP plate and you’d be a fool not to scope out the upcoming events (check them all out HERE).
