It’s been a huge year. Massive. In world events and locally, here at home. This time last year we were a totally different hotel and QT Hotels & Resorts were still to launch the first international family member of the brand.

Skip forward a year, the whispers came true, we got a face lift and now head the QT family here in New Zealand. We already had the quirk with all the wonderful pieces of art that Chris Parkin had hanging around the place.

Mix that with some creative titles, new recruits and a team of passionate hoteliers, alongside the QT standards of design, art and atmosphere and you have wrapped QT Museum Wellington up in statement gloss, dark-black wrapping paper and tied with a white silk QT bow.

We couldn’t be happier to be here and things are looking good for our newest little sister down in Queenstown, to open later this year – we are very happy for those doors to open, just imagine the party!

In the hotel game, stars are an important feature. Whether they’re staying in your rooms or rating your hotel, we’ll take them both.

So in late January, we invited the scrupulous team from Qualmark over to run us through our paces and see where we sat on their star rating range – always a nervous time.

We are very pleased to announce that the results are in we scored a total of five stars and a Gold score for sustainability!

Congratulations to all members of the QT Museum Wellington family and a huge thank you to the guests – without you, there would be no us.
